Mr. Louis Burgess Dear Lou, I'm writing to thank you for the wonderful seminar, "Managed Care, A Patient, Staff, Community Partnership," you provided employees of the DMHAS service system on April 16. The program had a message for everyone - I know I returned to my job renewed, and focussed more than ever on customer service! I so enjoyed the chance to talk to you. You were a lot of fun, and an inspiration. I wish you continued success in all you do, and in bringing your message to health care organizations around the country. I am happy to provide the attached letter for recommendation. I liked your idea about a letter to New England Health Care Employees Union, District 1199. As you know, it was money provided by the P-1 Workshop Fund of the health care professional collective bargaining unit contract that made it possible for us to have you speak. Their President is Jerome Brown, 77 Huyshope Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106. I understand that you spent the day after our program with David Chu at CANPFA. He may have told you that he used to be very friendly with my husband and me. Anyway, you ended up being the "go-between" of a reunion of sorts. As a result of David and I talking, we may end up sharing some educational services with some of the not-for-profits in his network. Again, thank you for your fine program. I hope to be able to work with you again in the future. Sincerely,
|
